How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks at the power plant on various mechanical equipment, including turbines and Generators Auxiliaries, Pumps, compressors, valves, and high-pressure vessels such as HRSG and condensers.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical systems according to the work plan.
• Assist Mechanical Maintenance Engineers with inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of malfunctioning or faulty mechanical equipment or systems.
• Support the maintenance team in the inspection, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of power plant equipment, adhering to safety and maintenance procedures to ensure plant availability.
• Complete tasks as identified by Lead Technicians or Engineers.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
• Report any faults and defects discovered during maintenance activities.
• Follow internal processes and procedures diligently.
• Identify necessary tools and materials required for maintenance work.
• Ensure personal safety and the safety of others by strictly complying with plant safety regulations, EHS procedures, and policies.
• Protect the environment by minimizing hazardous waste and avoiding unnecessary spillages.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge by attending training courses and practical training sessions provided.
• Abide by and comply with the Company Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Guidelines.
• Act professionally and courteously when liaising with team members, operations teams, and contractors.

About the Team
The O&M Maintenance Team at New Capital Power Plant is established to achieve all Siemens Energy goals during the 8-year Operation and Maintenance contract with the client EEHC, Egypt.
