How you will make an impact

Reporting to the Director of Arla Apetina & Skyr, you will play a critical role in building two strong brands, currently worth more than 160m euros and in strong growth across markets. As Senior Brand Manager, you will be working with an extended team and markets to develop the sub-brand positions, Arla Apetina and Arla Skyr.
It will be your task to lead the brand development of both brands. On Arla Skyr, we have the exciting journey of continuing to build penetration in an expanding Skyr segment via new occasions, product renovation and meeting new consumer needs. You will also have the opportunity to grow Arla Apetina which sits in our Cooking Inspiration growth territory through inspiring consumers to use our products in new occasions and cuisines.
More specifically, you will:

• Set the strategic direction for the brands by taking market contexts, growth opportunities and trends into account
• Implement the strategy to drive profitable growth across European and International core markets
• Develop the communication and media strategy and develop and deliver the toolkits to expand penetration
• Commercially drive profitable growth by working closely with our local markets
• Owning the P&L top to bottom
• Be the brand guardian to secure stringent appearance of the sub-brands across all markets and touchpoints
• Closely collaborate with the Innovation Managers in the team to ensure innovations align with brand positioning, target audience needs and consumer insights
• Day to day responsible for the Brand manager in the team
• Drive global ways of working governance model with single point of contact for markets, fostering strong communication and contracting on expectations with different stakeholders.

For this role, you can be based in any of our European markets; Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands or UK. You should expect travel activities corresponding to a few times a month across Europe (if you are based in Viby Denmark, travel will be less) and otherwise work from home or utilize our offices in one of our European markets. Travel requirements will vary through the year.

What will make you successful
You have a passion for brands and know how to creatively develop them for growth. You are adept at using your creative flair to influence shopper and consumer behaviour. You are a great collaborator, knowing how to bring people along on the journey, building strong relationships and networks, and you know how to support, motivate and get the most out of an indirect team.
Besides this, you:

• Have several years of experience working with brands - thinking both shopper, consumer, customer/channel and category
• Have a strong commercial background and are focused on how to grow a brand to drive growth, P&L, scale and equity

• Possess strong knowledge of consumer insights and brand levers – penetration, packs per trip, frequency etc.
• Have strong project management skills
• Are experienced in working with agencies and communications
• Are fluent in English
