Základní škola VIA BEROUN is seeking a full-time primary school English teacher for the school year 2025-26. VIA Beroun is an innovative school project in Beroun and the school year 2025-26 will see us move into our own custom-built campus, close to the centre of Beroun. Suitable candidates should fulfil the following requirements:

  • Fluent speaker of English (proficient – C2 level)
  • University teaching qualification or equivalent e.g., PGCE, CELTA, TEFL, TESOL
  • Experience of teaching children in a primary school environment is preferred
  • Experience teaching at pre-school level (age 5-6) is welcomed
  • Ability to teach creative and hands-on lessons that help students develop their strengths, skills and values
  • Ability to work with the needs of students to motivate them in a positive learning environment
  • Energetic, motivated and adaptable
  • A willingness to teach according to the VIA Beroun’s ethos
  • Legal status to work in the Czech Republic
