Overview


We’re seeking a motivated Senior/Lead Full-Stack Engineer with 5-7 years of experience, particularly in Node.js, to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who brings a balanced approach to independent problem-solving and collaborative work, with a keen ability to contribute effectively to an established AI-driven engineering environment.
The candidate will have the opportunity to gradually take ownership of AI-based critical services and collaborate closely with cross-functional, globally distributed teams. Strong communication skills and flexibility with work hours are essential to support our global collaboration efforts.
Our team follows a Kanban-style agile process, and we value a proactive, “can-do” mindset. Success in this role will also mean stepping into a mentorship role, particularly with junior team members, and bringing both initiative and adaptability to support project needs, even on unscheduled tasks.
Additionally, the candidate should feel comfortable presenting to both internal and external audiences, including running sprint demos, retrospectives, and planning sessions. Strong presentation and facilitation skills are essential to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment across stakeholders.
Remote work experience is a must, ensuring the candidate can thrive in our distributed setup.


Requirements

• 5-7+ years in full-stack engineering.
• Node.js experience or strong interest in learning.
• Experience with cloud services (preferably Azure, but AWS is also valued).
• Familiarity with RAG processes, LLMs, and vector databases.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects, mentor team members, and foster collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on cost-effective, high-performance AI solutions.
• Experience in developing, documenting, and integrating APIs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using large language models (LLMs) like GPT for applications.
• Familiarity with predictive models or traditional AI techniques.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of Azure API Management, Application Insights, and Power BI.
• Proficiency with Postgres and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Open API/Swagger.
• Familiarity with Nx for monorepo management.
• Strong automated testing experience through development cycle
• Proficiency with Type Script.

Additional Details

• Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and Passport/ID validation.
• Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
