Senior Program Ops Manager, Amazon Global Selling - PMO

  • 10+ years of experience in program/project management, business operations or related fields

Amazon Global Selling (AGS) has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today, more than 50% of Amazon’s total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 18 overseas stores, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.

The Role

The Central Product & Program Management Office (PMO) collaborates with AGS business teams and many of Amazon’s global teams to empower high-growth global selling, continuously uncover new opportunities, and spearhead new initiatives to drive seller growth and success. We are looking for a talented, highly-organized, and self-motivated program operations manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of high-impact projects. The program operations manager will play a critical role in formulating and implementing operation process to support new product/program launch, reviewing existing process to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline, and rolling out new tools to increase productivity and scale automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-visibility, complex programs that span multiple business units and geographies
  • Define program objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders to pilot/scale new business initiatives to sellers and internal teams
  • Develop and manage operational plans, coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of program initiatives
  • Analyze and solve operational barriers affecting program delivery, with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Monitor progress and performance metrics, gather customer feedback, and derive insights to renovate existing processes or promptly implement enhancements to new processes
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and resolve conflicts at senior levels of the organization, maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders to provide regular updates on program status and milestones

  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding our products, operations, and sellers
  • Act like an owner, a strong team player, and ultimately focus on delivering results with high standards
  • Experience in e-Commerce and/or in a hi-tech B2B sales organization
  • Track record of implementing innovative solutions that have resulted in significant business growth or operational efficiency
