Job description
Slush Puppie is looking for a dedicated and competent technician, for whom customer service is paramount. As a technician, you will be responsible for the delivery of merchandise, working out of our Hamilton branch, covering the areas of the territory and further in the Ontario province, as needed. The ideal candidate enjoys physical labor, demonstrates a strong work ethic and is diligent.
Duties and responsibilities
· Load and unload delivery vehicle
· Drive a delivery company vehicle
· Plan routes and schedule efficiently days to meet the needs of the business and clients
· Clean and maintain a small warehouse
· Manage inventory for parts and supply
· Deliver agreed goods on time
· Provide excellent customer service
· Install and check equipment operation
· Perform preventive maintenance
· Diagnose faults and identify defective parts
· Determine solutions and conditions for reconditioning equipment
· Repair and maintain equipment
· Fill in maintenance logs and pass on technical information to the relevant department
· Comply with safety regulations
Requirements
· Basic mechanical and electrical skills
· Good physical condition, heavy lifting necessary (Up to 50 lbs)
· Team spirit
· Professional attitude
· Valid G license, with a clean driving record
Work schedule
· Permanent employment
· Monday to Friday daytime, 44 hours per week + possibility of overtime
· Possibility of overtime, especially during the summer period
Salary
· Starting at $2400 per hour
