Job Summary
Opened in December 2018, the NEW Courtyard by Marriott Burlington is now looking for a Night Audit Associate to join our team. The newest hotel to the Burlington/Oakville region features 135 guestrooms and suites with 1800 sq. ft of flexible meeting space, indoor salt-water pool, state-of-the-art fitness centre, and on-site Bistro Restaurant & Lounge.
Responsibilities

• Process and completes night audit according to Marriott standards
• Prints and verify end of day reports
• Responsible for balancing the revenue and transactions which occurred during the day
• Balance cash drawers and record receipts
• Check-ins and check-outs of guests in accordance with hotel standards in an efficient and friendly manner as well as verifying method of payment
• Answer guest inquiries regarding rates, packages, and general information accurately and in a timely manner
• Resolving guests complains and concerns as well as acknowledging guests in the lobby
• Ensuring communication between different shifts and departments
• Acts as property security overnight to ensure the safety and security of our guests and facilities.

• Deal with guest requests and/or issues in a courteous, prompt, and professional manner
• Follows the policies and procedures and all brand standards as outlined by Marriott
• Follows all policies, procedures and rules as stated in the Courtyard by Marriott safety and emergency policies and procedures
• Reports all concerns to management relating to maintenance, health and safety, security or suspicious circumstances
• Perform any reasonable requests as assigned or directed by management

Required Skills

• Minimum one (1) year experience in Night Audit Hotel Operations
• Should have High School diploma/secondary qualification or equivalent; some college/university preferred
• Available to work weekends and public holidays
• Current Courtyard brand experience preferred / Marriott brand experience an asset
• Working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, methods, practices, and techniques
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
