Vision Greens (visiongreens.ca) is a Welland-based vertical farming organization dedicated to bringing sustainable produce to all Canadians. Our controlled environment facility uses patented space technology to produce 1 million pounds of leafy greens annually, using more than 95% less land and water than regular crop farms.
Our lettuce is sustainably grown, pesticide-free, longer-lasting, and better tasting than other packaged lettuces, which is why it's called the World's Best Lettuce.
It's an exciting time to join Vision Greens, as we rapidly expand our growing operations and customer base, which includes some of Canada's largest retail and food service accounts, such as Metro, Loblaws and Sysco.

Key Accountabilities

• Set up and conduct 4 hour in store demonstrations within the Produce section at select Ontario grocery stores, sampling salad to consumers
• Deliver product and pricing information to consumers
• Answer consumer questions in an articulate and knowledgeable manner
• Strict alignment with all food safety standards
• Maintenance of high standards of quality in all elements of the product presentation
• Gather consumer and store feedback and share it with the company

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in product demonstrations and/or food operations is considered an asset
• Punctuality and Conscientiousness
• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle
• Outgoing personality; enjoy meeting and speaking with people
• Able to learn and present key selling messages effectively
• High Performance-orientation
• Must Enjoy selling

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
