Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full-cycle recruiting.
• Conduct initial orientations and exit interviews, manage and oversee the on-boarding and off-boarding procedures.
• Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll and associated task.
• Process ROE promptly and address inquiries may raise from Service Canada.
• Develop and manage group benefits programs.
• Support in processing Health and Safety cases.
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities, such as probation reviews, annual performance reviews, promotions, internal transfer, and issuing verbal/written warnings.
• Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
• Perform administrative work, including maintaining files, sorting mail for the HR department, etc.
• Manager and oversee daily operations of the HR functions and duties.
• Assist in developing and maintaining HR policy to ensure it align with the most updated regulations and laws.
• Assist and coordinate with oversee local HR managers as needed.
• Other responsibilities assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in HR, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years proven working experience in HR field.
• Solid knowledge of Employment Standard Act/ Ministry of Labour Act.
• Proficient in utilizing the payroll system, such as ADP and Nethris.
• Experience in updating HR policies is considered an asset.
• Strong verbal and written in English.
• Energetic with excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
