• Achieving and maintaining a working knowledge of the special authorization review process, with the ability to assess requests independently,

• Answering telephone inquiries from the public and health professionals with respect to the status of prescriptions eligible/ineligible under the Program,

• Maintaining knowledge and understanding of the claims adjudication system for Nova Scotia Pharmacare,
• Assisting in maintaining current information regarding eligibility status of recipients and insured benefits.
