Position Summary
As the Director, PCC Programs, you will be responsible for developing a strategic business plan for Hanson’s development of the PCC sector, overseeing the implementation of this plan, and driving the continuous growth and innovation of Hanson’s PCC programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in education management, program development, and regulatory compliance.
What You Will Do:
- Develop a comprehensive strategic plan for Hanson’s PCC programs, including market analysis, program portfolio selection, and growth strategies.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish enrollment, financial, and operational goals for all programs under the PCC umbrella.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the PCC sector to position Hanson as a leader in private career education.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders to support program success and growth.
- Drive the development of new programs to expand Hanson’s PCC offerings based on market demand and emerging trends.
- Ensure all programs meet the requirements of the Ministry of Colleges and Universities and other accrediting bodies.
- Oversee the creation of curriculum frameworks, program budgets, and operational timelines.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to develop and execute recruitment strategies.
- Establish a high-performing team to manage and deliver PCC programs, including recruiting key staff such as program supervisors, instructors, and administrative personnel.
- Monitor program performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve enrollment, financial, and educational goals.
- Conduct regular assessments of program quality and student outcomes, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Drive innovation in program delivery methods, including the integration of technology and hybrid learning models.
- Stay abreast of industry and regulatory changes to ensure Hanson’s PCC programs remain competitive and compliant.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Hanson and external regulatory agencies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to program supervisors and other staff, fostering a collaborative and student-focused culture.
- Report regularly to the Executive Team on program progress, challenges, and achievements.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in education management, preferably within the PCC or post-secondary sector.
- Proven track record in developing and launching educational programs.
- Strong knowledge of PCC regulations and accreditation processes.
- Exceptional strategic planning and business development skills.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Knowledge of industry trends and innovations in education delivery.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
