Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and creative Copywriter to develop compelling and engaging content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be adept at producing copy that resonates with target audiences, supports brand messaging, and drives engagement. This role requires a keen understanding of marketing principles, excellent storytelling skills, and a strategic approach to content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and edit clear, engaging, and original content for digital and print platforms (e.g., websites, emails, social media, and campaigns), ensuring consistency in quality and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits of website and social media content to assess performance, identify gaps, and develop optimization strategies.
- Ensure all content aligns with MHCA’s brand voice, resonates with target audiences, and adapts tone and style for maximum impact.
- Planning and structuring online content to reflect fundraising activities and showcase the impact of the organization’s work.
- Work closely with designers and the marketing team to create cohesive and impactful campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research, apply SEO best practices, and stay updated on industry trends to optimize content visibility and performance.
- Researching and preparing project feedback to share with donors and partner organizations.
- Attending meetings to offer creative ideas and perspectives to enhance content strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, or similar role (portfolio required).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and content strategy.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., Word Press) and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with data-driven content marketing and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.
- An understanding of audience segmentation.
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
