Responsibilities

• Manage environmental compliance program for operating sites and handover of construction projects to operations.
• Support operations personnel in completing regulatory obligations and addressing permit requirements.
• Interact with facility personnel, company management, legal counsel, environmental sustainability team, and other relevant internal stakeholders to communicate environmental requirements, identify compliance issues, act as a technical resource, and coordinate on key initiatives.
• Define and implement necessary training for facility operations personnel for managing environmental issues.
• Support site incident investigations.
• Interact with regulatory agency personnel on major environmental issues.
• Monitor development of legislative changes in Latin America, analyze potential impacts on operations, and provide updates to the site personnel.

Qualifications

• Upload your resume in English.
• Able to relocate near Campinas to work on the sites.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 6+ years of combined experience in Environmental Health and Safety Regulations, environmental permits and compliance management in Brazil.
• Able to communicate professionally in English in both written and spoken form.
• Able to work on site up to 100% of the time.

• Experience with Enhesa, Regscan, EIA Tracker, Enablon, Intelex or similar tools.
• Spanish is a plus.
