About the Role:
The Ferrero Group is looking for a VIE to join our Group Public Policy Center (GPPC) in Brussels, focusing on Responsible Marketing. The GPPC is part of the Ferrero Group's Institutional Affairs and Corporate Communications department. You will focus your activities on public affairs and in the field of Responsible Marketing: responsible marketing to children, environmental claims in advertising, consumer data and privacy protection, diversity and inclusion etc. You will contribute to monitoring and gathering relevant information, supporting in the development of advocacy strategies related to food advertising regulation and self-regulation, developing Group positions, representing Group's interests externally (e.g. at trade association meetings) and working with our marketing teams to ensure compliance with Ferrero’s commitments.
For this position, you must be self-motivated, proactive, able to work on your own initiative and have strong interpersonal skills. You will report directly to Ferrero's Global Public Policy Manager for Responsible Marketing.

Main Responsibilities:
As VIE Junior Advisor Responsible Marketing you will contribute to the operational development of Group positions and guidelines and will be drawing up documentation.
A key responsibility is to help ensure that marketing assets comply with the Group's responsible marketing commitments.
You will assess the impact of advertising policy files (self-regulation or regulation proposals).
You will participate in and provide operational support for meetings of relevant industry associations.
Additional activities will be the administrative and operational support for various events organized or prepared by the team, as well as benchmarks on different subjects.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in law or political science, having a background in food policies and ideally prior experience in the food industry and/or public affairs.
You have a passion for public affairs and marketing issues and are comfortable reading and analyzing technical legislation.
The position requires a wide range of skills from data/information acquisition and analysis to the delivery of relevant messages to internal and external stakeholders. Interpretation of relevant regulations / self-regulations and understanding of the main impact for the Ferrero Group are paramount.
Prior project management experience is appreciated, as working precisely and in an organized manner is crucial for this role. Effective communication skills allow you to interact and negotiate professionally with a wide range of stakeholders. You are self-driven and motivated with strong interpersonal skills and real team spirit.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is essential.
Excellent command of English, both oral and written, is a must. Fluency in Italian and/or another EU language would be an additional asset.
