Are you a helicopter pilot with a passion for safety and efficiency? Join our team to execute both scheduled and unscheduled Helicopter Hoist Operations (HHO) flights. As a Helicopter Hoist Operations (HHO) Pilot, you will perform flights in the most cost-effective and safe manner, adhering to aviation regulations and our company's high standards. You will travel between bases in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Poland.

• Understanding the client’s business & needs, under the decision and supervision of the Base Manager
• Acting responsible to the pilot-in-command in assisting to conduct an efficient flight.
• Maintaining familiarity with the relevant air legislation, agreed aviation practices and local procedures.
• Maintaining familiarity with NHV’s Operations Manual, FOI’s and other related manuals, procedures and instructions for fulfilling the job.
• Responsible for the technical preparation of flights (i.e. route planning, fuel check and general inspection of the helicopter)
• Assisting the pilot-in-command when requested, with respect to administrative flight duties.
• Supporting the pilot-in-command in maintaining a proper standard of crew discipline, conduct and personal appearance.
• Carrying out flight duties, in accordance with NHV’s SOP’s, limitations and performance related to the allocated helicopter type.
• Leading by example and promoting a team spirit amongst colleagues.
• Respecting the code of conduct and overall behavior towards the whole NHV team, as well as respecting the ‘Drugs & Alcohol’ policy.
• Respecting the local content, culture and environment and adapt accordingly.
• In case of any incidents or problems with the helicopter assisting the pilot-in-command to write a report at the end of the flight
• When landing on the ship, check whether there is no obstacle
• Follow instructions of the HHO for positioning the helicopter just above the spot
• Strictly obey the safety rules taking into account the constraints and possibilities of the helicopter and the presence of colleagues.

Technical requirements:

• EASA CPL(H) License
• EASA Class 1 Medical
• EASA IFR (H)ME
• ATPL(H) theory and MCC certificate

Type rating: H175
Total expected flight hours: 500 hours on rotary wing

Languages:

• English Proficiency Level 4
• Dutch speaking/understanding is a plus

Good ICT-knowledge (specific aviation software & administrative programs)
Knows & plays by the procedures installed by the company.
With regard to this type of operations: the ability to judge which of several objects appear closer or further away from the observer and estimate the distance between an object and the observer.
Flexible (e.g. for double crewing, extra work ...), a team player, result driven and customer focused.
