Joinery & Interior Fit Out Site Engineer Job
Summary
The Joinery & Interior Fit Out Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of joinery and interior fit out projects on site. They work closely with the project management team, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Apply designs and plans to mark out the site for joinery and fit out works
• Liaise with architects, supervisors, and subcontractors as part of the site management team
• Act as the main technical advisor on site for subcontractors and workers
• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy
• Ensure all materials and work are as per specifications
• Oversee selection and requisition of materials
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and workforce
• Manage day-to-day site operations, supervise labor force and subcontractors
• Plan work and organize site facilities to meet deadlines
• Oversee quality control and health & safety on site
• Prepare progress reports as required
• Resolve technical difficulties and problems that arise

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in Bahrain from a well-established fit out and joinery company
• Excellent leadership, communication and coordination skills
• Proven experience in high-end interior fit out and joinery projects
• Proficient in Auto CAD and space planning for commercial interiors
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
