Engineer for power analysis (f/m/div)

For the performance of big mixed signal IC’s an optimized power network is crucial. Analyzing and optimizing this network with special focus on voltage drop and electro migration will be the main focus in your job.

In your new role you will:

Perform voltage drop and power analysis on our mixed signal IP’s and subsystems
Analyze the result together with Design and Layout Teams
Pro-actively improve the methodology and flow together with the methodology group

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

A Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering or similar field of studies
1-3 years of experience in the area of analog semiconductor design / layout
A foundation in layout / design / analog verification and Cadence design environment
Knowledge of IRDrop/EM analyses (e. g. Ansys Totem/Redhawk or Cadence Voltus FI) is a plus
Good unix & scripting skills (e.g. Python, Perl, Shell programming)
An independent and self-responsible working style

We are filling this position through one of our leasing partners. A valid work permit for Austria (RWR-Card+) or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees of EEI with a minimum salary of 3.665,31. (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
