ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Accurately pick + pack wholesale bread & pastry orders from packing slip
- Accurately pack bread, pastry and pie orders ready for delivery to Flour Water Salt cafes
- Slice bread according to packing sheet
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the packing room
- Identify and implement process improvements in packing room
- Previous bakery experience beneficial so you can easily identify products
- Desire to work in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and quickly
- Good physical fitness to be able to lift heavy things
- Able to work unsupervised and to a schedule
- Strong literacy and numeracy to read packing slips and instructions
- Willing to commit to the role for at least a year, ideally 2-3 years
Variety of shifts available:
- Mon-Fri 7pm – 12am
- Sat 3pm - 6pm
Award rates and opportunity for more shifts for the right person.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $33.35 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Warehouse: 1 year (Required)
- Full Driver Licence (Required)
- Australia (Required)
