Evolve Therapy is looking for 2x Occupational Therapists to join our clinic in Shenton Park commencing in 2025. Please see description of each role below.

Our team consists of seven Occupational Therapists, ranging from early career OT's through to highly experienced OT's.
We have a wealth of knowledge and experience across early intervention, sensory integration, equipment and assistive technology, complex home modifications and functional capacity assessments.
Our goal is dynamically enriching the lives of individuals with special needs and their families. We achieve excellence in our service provision and achieve this by putting our OT's first.
We have a modern and well equiped clinic which is warm and inviting for the families we support. We also have a large sensory gym which is OT designed and utilised as part of sessions.
Therapists are provided with all the tools they need for their role inc; Mac Book, i Phone and height adjustable sit/stand desk. The team have a large range of resources for sessions and a generous budget for purchasing of new resources as they are identified to continue providing engaging and evidenced based OT support.

Position 1- Paediatric Occupational Therapy and Assistive Technology Prescription (Full time)
Commencing mid January 2025
This role is a combination of ongoing therapy and assistive technology. The client group is predominantly children <10 years of age with a diagnosis of GDD, Cerebral Palsy, ID, neurological conditions and other rare chromosomal abnormalities. Services are provided both in the clinic and in the community at homes, schools or equipment suppliers. The role also includes report writing eg: mid cost AT reports and functional capacity assessments.
Skill set and experience for ongoing therapy includes upper limb access/play, fine motor skills, school based access/task adaption, emotional regulation, routines and daily living skills. Experience with prescribing strollers, activity chairs, car seats, shower chairs, hoists, vehicle modifications and alternative positioning chairs would be highly regarded. Ongoing support and supervision with assistive technology will be provided.
Position 2- Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Full time)
Commencing late February 2025
Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) working with children aged 2-15 years. The role involves clinic appointments, assessment and report writing, functional capacity assessments, school visits, and home visits. Diagnoses include Global Developmental Delay, ASD, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, and children needing support for handwriting and sensory needs. Experience with feeding or prior completion of SOS feeding/other feeding courses would be highly regarded but not essential as training and support can be provided.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, current membership of Occupational Therapy Australia and professional indemnity insurance.
- More than 2 years clinical experience
- The ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise tasks.
- The ability to work independently but also within a small team setting.
- Current WA driver’s license and car, as there would be local travel for home and community visits.
