AJ's Total Truck Gear is located in Torrington, Toowoomba, Queensland and is looking for a fulltime Polisher to join our busy team manufacturing Bullbars/Bumpers. Below is a list of main tasks and duties but not limited to:
Main tasks and duties are as follows:

• Polish / Grind / Sand Bullbars, Bumpers and other Miscellaneous Metal Objects
• Measure and mark equipment, objects, or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met.
• Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools
• Completes polishing checklists to ensure all bars are leaving polishing area at the required standard.
• Brown Polish/ Green polish bars to required standard
• Mark defects such as knotholes, cracks, and splits for repair
• Selecting and using grinders and metal finishers.
• Working independently.
• Work safely in accordance with any relevant SWI or SOP’s.
• Work in and maintain a working environment with an acceptable level of housekeeping.

Kentweld Bullbars also requires that the successful candidate has proven 3 years' experience in polishing and with the equipment and attributes below.
Experience with grinding, spanners, hammer, machine for (punching, shear and notching), band saw, chisel, aluminum polishing tools, wire brush, clamps, angle grinder, square, tip cleaner, files, centre punch, scale, measuring tape and air tools such as grinder with flap disc, cutting disc and sanding disc. Candidates need to be competent in speaking and understanding English. The success full applicant with all the experience would be at $65,000 - $70,000 per year.
