The Opportunity
We are seeking Skilled Knifehand to join our dedicated team at Harvey, WA. This role is ideal for individuals with proven knife-handling experience in meat processing, who take pride in precision, safety, and teamwork.
As a Knifehand, you will perform essential tasks that contribute to the production of premium-quality beef products. This position requires adherence to strict safety, hygiene, and animal welfare standards, ensuring excellence at every step of the process.
The Role
- Perform skilled knife-handling tasks, including cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products to specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all workplace safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets efficiently.
- Uphold the highest standards of product quality and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Participate in regular training and skill development to maintain top performance standards.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Knifehand in a meat processing environment (preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate).
- Excellent knife-handling skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to safety, hygiene, and quality practices.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
