**What’s the role?**
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Data Services and Enterprise Platforms to lead a talented team in delivering cutting-edge data solutions. Reporting to the Director of Data Strategy and Management, you will play a pivotal role within News Corp Australia’s Technology, Digital, and Data team. Your primary mission will be to enable the business to leverage its financial and client data through innovative technology and strategic leadership. You will also oversee the Data Operations team, ensuring the stability and reliability of our data and business intelligence platforms.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to develop understand their business roadmaps and provide data and bi solutions to meet their needs
+ Manage the demand pipeline and prioritise the delivery of data products in alignment with business
+ Accountable for the delivery, leading the analysts and engineers to deliver on time and on budget
+ Be a trusted delivery partner to the business, consulting on best practice and data innovation
+ Facilitate the development of team members in the latest data and AI technologies pertinent to News Corp Australia (NCA)
+ Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to increase productivity within the department.
+ Ensure delivery aligns with Data Management and BICOE frameworks
**Who are you?**
+ **Experienced in Leadership:** You have 5+ years of experience in data leadership, guiding teams through organisational change and driving successful transformation.
+ **Business-Focused:** You drive business value through the effective use of data and technology, building strong relationships to empower the business with data-driven insights.
+ **Excellent Communicator:** You can translate complex technical concepts into clear business initiatives and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ **Innovative Leader:** You lead data innovation, challenge existing methodologies, and foster a culture of experimentation to deliver impactful solutions.
+ **Delivery-Oriented:** You confidently lead teams to deliver reusable data products on time, overcoming obstacles and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
+ **Strategic Problem Solver:** As a trusted business partner, you use a solution-oriented approach to explore opportunities and remove barriers to achieving business success.
