• Lead and manage engineering teams to develop and maintain high-quality store systems and applications.
• Oversee technical delivery for system maintenance and upgrades to ensure continued stability and security.
• Drive new feature development and enhance existing applications to meet the evolving needs of our retail environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals and objectives.
• Foster an agile development culture, ensuring best practices are followed for development, deployment, and operational efficiency.
• Champion continuous improvement through CI/CD practices, utilizing tools such as Github Actions.
• Maintain high standards of engineering excellence and ensure compliance with security and performance requirements.

• 10+ years in software engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a people management role.
• Proven experience in software development, with strong proficiency in engineering, best practices, system design, and development methodologies.
• Deep understanding of the retail industry, including experience working with store systems and operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of mentoring and building high-performing teams.
• Hands-on expertise with the following technologies:

• Microservices Architecture and best practices.
• Git Hub Actions for CI/CD pipeline management.
• SQL for database design and optimization.
• Event-based architecture for building scalable, responsive systems.
• Bash and Power Shell scripting for automation and system management.
• AWS for cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Java Script, Type Script & .Net
• Kafka for messaging and event streaming.
• Kong for API gateway management and service communication.
• Windows Services for creating and managing background applications.
