This position serves as the global account manager key mining accounts. It also leads / support related business development projects.

We are looking for a talented Global Mining End-Users Account Manager to join our team in Australia.
This position serves as the global account manager key mining accounts. It also leads / support related business development projects.
In this role, you will have an impact in the following ways:
- Effectively manages the relationship and business strategies for large, complex assigned accounts (cross-regional, global, etc.) to grow our share of the customer's wallet and achieve sales goals.
- Be the central point of relationship, which includes business development activities and account escalations that cannot be resolved by the local teams.
- Bringing together the regional account representatives supporting the account to ensure alignment of strategy and pricing where appropriate.
- Drive strategic decisions among the team, act as liaison point with the segment strategy and OEM teams.
- Manage global contracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Competencies:
- Communicates effectively - Develops and communicates in a variety of ways to convey a clear understanding of the particular needs of different audiences.
- Customer-focused - Builds solid relationships with customers and provides customer-oriented solutions.
- Ensures accountability - Holds self and others accountable for delivering on commitments.
- Channel knowledge - Explains and contextualizes industry structure, dynamics and market path in order to advance organizational goals.
- Account planning - Identifies objectives to drive the execution of the business and/or account strategy by reviewing where it should be and enabling tracking of progress against goals.
- Significant level of relevant work experience required, including previous customer and/or product experience required. Purchasing/commercial contract negotiation preferred.
- Degree in Marketing, Sales, Administration and/or related areas.
- Solid experience in account management, familiarity with industrial clients.
- Experience working across geographies and/or business units.
