This role is vital in maintaining high patient satisfaction by delivering exceptional service over the phone and in person.
Position Overview:
The Patient Relations Representative (PRR) is the first point of contact for patients, handling the front desk, patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and payments. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a cohesive team where each member is treated with respect and compassion.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service, serving as the initial contact for all patients
- Facilitate communication between patients, providers, and internal/external teams
- Operate a multi-line phone system, route calls, and respond to inquiries
- Register patients and verify accurate demographic and insurance information
- Schedule appointments and monitor daily appointment schedules
- Identify urgent situations and respond appropriately
- Handle clerical tasks, including cashiering and managing patient forms and charts
- Provide information on financial policies and scheduling requirements
- Ensure the clinic and waiting areas are clean and welcoming
- Opportunity to grow into handling referrals, authorizations, and accounts receivable management
- Customer Service Experience: 1 year required
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems: 1 year preferred
- Medical Office Experience: 1 year required
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Languages: English required; Spanish preferred
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States
