APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify a Patient Registrar

Location: Wyoming, MI 49519
Position: Patient Registrar
Pay Rate: $24.80/hr
Duration: 13 weeks
Expected Shift: 40hrs/week
Schedules are on a two-week rotation.
Emergency Department, 1st shift - 10 hr shifts
Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday I Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5am-3:30pm Every other weekend

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• College education of 1-2 years, preferred.
• Previous experience in registration, billing, and/or administrative role in a hospital or medical office preferred.
• Previous experience utilizing medical terminology preferred.
• ICD-10 and/or CPT-4 coding, preferred.
• Certified Healthcare Associate Certification (CHAA), preferred.
