Our LNG trainee program offers fresh graduates and successful early career stage candidates a series of job rotations, providing short overseas posting and internal & external learning sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with traders daily to understand the market, trading strategy as well as the basic trading skills/views.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast future trade flows and market dynamics.
- Evaluate the impact of global economic events, trade policies, and tariffs on company operations and trade strategies.
- Monitor and assess the performance of paper and physical trades, providing actionable feedback and recommendations.
- Coordinate the scheduling and execution of LNG cargo operations, including loading and unloading activities at terminals and vessels.
- Understand the key term sheet, risk/mismatch points during the physical trading process
- Understand the shipping cost evaluation/shipping optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and compliance departments, to optimize cargo operations and ensure operational efficiency.
- Singapore citizen
- Bachelor degree or above, mathematics background is preferred.
- Fresh graduate or working experience within 3 years.
- Good communication skill
- Excellent teamwork skills with a preference for action and accountability
- Meticulous, detailed oriented and adaptability to changing environment
- Can work under pressure.
