Technical Quality Project Manager

Technical Quality Project Manager is responsible for the efficient set-up, execution, control and management of "Projects" within the agreed contractual scope & company's policy with client's satisfaction as a final result. The TQPM should also be responsible for essential quality assurance and control functions, ensuring projects are executed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management:
  • Oversee the supply and delivery of steel, ensuring compliance with specified delivery specifications and conditions, based on customer’s requirements.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects from start to completion, defining scope and deliverables with senior management.
  • Communicate and manage expectations with stakeholders and team members, resolving conflicts as needed.
  • Track milestones, manage changes, and prepare contingency plans, ensuring project goals are met.
  • Develop reports and proposals, defining success criteria and building essential business relationships.
Quality Management:
  • Review and evaluate customer specifications, understand deviations from supplier offers, and ensure familiarity with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate testing, inspections, and standardize QA/QC activities from raw materials to customer delivery.
  • Address quality complaints, initiating corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
    • Must be willing to travel as required for job execution.


Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma Material Science and/or Mechanical Engineering


Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
    • Strong knowledge of steel grades, welding inspection, and general steel quality issues.


General Skills & Attributes
  • Knowledge of and experience in Project Management, international freights, transport and documents
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of steel norms, materials and quality standards
  • Independent, proactive with strong initiative and positive working attitude
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
  • Possess highest standards of integrity and reliability
  • Ability to grow in a dynamic working environment
  • Competency in other PC skills and software applications
