Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Connect customers to the Company’s network at the Company’s Points of Presence
• Implementation of long haul and metro network augment, coordination and installation
• Work with Network Planning to provide Field perspective
• Work with Company’s NOC solving problems on the Company’s network
• Organize projects with contractors and internal staff
• Fiber optics network field activity
• Travel for business related projects as required, within country or abroad

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience on telecommunication networks
• Working knowledge on telecom infrastructure and field experience installing telecommunication network equipment
• Experience in the use of optical test equipment: power meters, OTDRs and interpretation of results
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• High-energy individual with interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate peers, and drive project to completion
• Experience managing vendors and carriers
• Successful project management experience
• Technical field experience, certifications, or training
