What you can expect
The IT Consultant-ALM Platforms is globally responsible for Magna Electronics ALM platforms to ensure stable operations and continuous improvements. The role is responsible for understanding business requirements and objectives, providing strategic advice on utilizing global ALM platforms. The role works in partnership with internal & external stakeholders in analyzing problems, offering solutions, and ensuring effective utilization of ALM platforms globally to drive business success.

Responsible for Installation of ALM platform (PTC Codebeamer) in Server(s)
Responsible for the operations of the ALM platform (PTC Codebeamer) & its associated components including integrations
Ensures that the support organization can fix all solution related tickets (incidents, service requests, problems, changes, knowledge base articles, technical trainings)
Responsible for all interactions with ALM platform (PTC Codebeamer) tool suppliers & internal business users
Monitor & optimization of license usage together with license management & draft appropriate measures in case of deviation together with License Management and ALM team
Support in ALM platform evaluation(s)
Plan, coordinate, or conduct technical activities for continuous improvement of the ALM toolchain particularly PTC Codebeamer

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s degree with a major in engineering or Information technology
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in ALM toolchains particularly PTC Codebeamer and process development especially in administration, support & development of IT platforms
Experience of IT administration and Server maintenance
Skills to create SCCM Package(s) of tools preferred
Certification in ALM/PTC Code Beamer is a plus
Comprehensive knowledge in Tool, System Administration & customization of ALM toolchain (PTC Code Beamer)
Advanced knowledge of ALM processes
Advanced knowledge in operating an enterprise ALM platform (Standard IT support, operations & maintenance)
Advanced knowledge of licensing servers and hosting systems (IT Infrastructure) related to Code Beamer
Basic knowledge of Automotive Standards e.g., V-Model, SPICE/CMMI or comparable
Basic knowledge of programming & scripting knowledge (VB Script, SCCM)
