Accountant/HR – Fashion & Logistics Business

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant/HR to manage financial operations while also handling human resources tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both accounting and human resources management and be ready to contribute to our startup’s growth.
Job Responsibilities
Accounting Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax filing.
Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
Monitor cash flow and manage budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Prepare financial reports for management, ensuring compliance with regulations and tax laws.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Conduct financial analysis to provide insights for decision-making.
Manage invoicing and track payments to ensure accurate and timely processing.
HR Responsibilities:
Manage recruitment and hiring processes for all company departments.
Coordinate onboarding, employee training, and development initiatives.
Maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Administer payroll, ensuring timely payments and compliance with labor laws.
Handle employee relations and resolve any HR issues, acting as a point of contact for staff concerns.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
Support performance management and employee evaluations.
Manage employee benefits, leave management, and related HR processes.
Requirements
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or HR Officer, with a strong understanding of both financial management and human resource practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Tally) and HR management tools.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll, and tax compliance.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Certification in HR (e.g., CIPM) or Accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is a plus.
