Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs), joint operating agreements, tender-related agreements, and other commercial agreements.
Provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
Support the business in navigating complex legal and regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to manage risks and safeguard the company�s interests.
Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry practices, providing proactive guidance to the management team.
Handle legal aspects of new business ventures, partnerships, and acquisitions.
Any task assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of legal experience. Experience in the oil and gas industry or in a law firm handling oil and gas-related matters will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of oil and gas regulatory frameworks in Malaysia.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

This position is only open to Malaysian citizens.
