The opportunity

We are currently looking for Mechanical Project Engineer in Lux Tire Plant to join our team in Luxembourg. On this position you will:
- Lead and/or realize Engineering equipment and Infrastructure projects
- Establish technical specifications based on costumer department needs as well as on Goodyear internal and legal requirements
- Mechanic design of Industrial/Manufacturing equipment and systems
- Support production and maintenance departments on existing machinery reliability improvement and major breakdowns
To join our team you will need:
Education:
The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics).
Languages:
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Fluency of either German or French is a major advantage.
Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of experience.
- Experience in mechanical design is an asset.
IT, Soft Skills & others:
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with CAD design software
- Proactive mindset
- Active team member, self motivated
- Ability to communicate internally and externally
- Open-minded and flexible
- Working in a plant environment is part of the job
- Committed to planning and results
- Flexible personal availability if needed
