About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our team in Cork. This role offers significant autonomy and will be instrumental in managing and overseeing our construction projects. The position is ideal for an experienced professional seeking a part-time opportunity with flexible hours.
Primary Responsibilities (in order of priority)

• Project Development and Acquisition:
• Source and evaluate potential development opportunities in Cork
• Conduct initial site viewings and due diligence inspections
• Prepare detailed risk assessments and business cases for potential projects
• Project Management and Delivery:
• Lead regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress
• Manage relationships with contractors, architects, and local authorities
• Oversee project budgets and maintain cost control
• Source and approve materials and finishes within budget parameters
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards
• Document project progress through comprehensive reports and photography
• Maintain organized project files and documentation

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in project management
• Valid driving license and own transport for site visits
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction standards
• Experience with project management software (specify which ones you're familiar with)
• Proven track record of delivering construction projects in Cork
