Full-time Trade Counter Sales Person

We are currently seeking a Trade Counter Sales Person to join our dedicated team. We’re looking for a responsible, reliable, and dynamic person who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving customers at the counter, inquiries over the phone in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Assist customers in selecting products, offering detailed product information to help them make informed choices.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a thorough knowledge of our product range to effectively meet customer needs and drive sales.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure the trade counter is well-organised and presentable.
- Verify that all incoming and outgoing goods match the accompanying paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and organised front store, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
- Promote and upsell products to achieve sales targets.
- Follow up on quotations via email and phone to secure potential sales and build customer relationships.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, multi-tasking environment.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales roles is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Competence in using computer and inventory management tools.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and within a team.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and move items as needed.
