Term Executive Assistant II

Major Duties:

(a)

To provide support in one or more of the following areas:

(i)

general administration, secretarial support and personnel;

(ii)

book-keeping, supplies and stores administration; and

(iii)

promotion and publicity, and committee work;

(b)

To provide support to activities and events;

(c)

To handle enquiries, filing, data entry and other supporting duties; and

(d)

To assist in website and database maintenance.

Requirements:

(a)

(i)

Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR

(ii)

Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR

(iii)

Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR

(iv)

A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR

(v)

A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.

Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.

“Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.

(b)

Good knowledge in MS Office applications, for example Word and Excel;

(c)

Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; and

(d)

Able to work independently and be a good team player.

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.
