We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Manager, Pricing and Billing Global Payments Solutions.
Purpose:
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager, who will act as an Asia Pacific (ASP) Regional team member to drive innovation on infrastructure development and new way of pricing to unlock customer value, while improving customer experience and business efficiency. You will drive and lead the deployment of Global Revenue Management Billing (GRMB) system to in-scope ASP markets to drive global consistency and delivery of the Global Payments Solutions strategy. You may be required to drive some of the enhancement areas as identified during the market deep-dive. This role is based in Hong Kong, with its first-year focus on Hong Kong business, then remotely outreaching to other sites in Asia Pacific.

What you’ll be doing:

Run and manage cross-sites project working groups involving global colleagues across product, sales, client services, client implementation, IT and Ops, to progress through to successful delivery of various projects, an example is the GRMB system
Championing local sites specific requirements to organize discussion and draw conclusion to ensure deployment meets the local needs. The main focus is on achieving accurate and fast execution of global propositions
Be actively engaged in business analysis, and development of subscription pricing models in ASP sites to help deepen Existing-to-Bank revenue & volume growth as well as increase New-to-Bank client acquisition. Be actively engaged and support the execution and deployment of the pricing models at pace
Improve and maintain the knowledge base across East and West markets, and focus to accelerate execution
As a global resource, this role also works closely with the global pricing and billing team to connect between the global team and the ASP sites to:
- Commercialize Future Pricing Strategies to drive simplification of pricing; perform data analysis, make recommendations, and validate them with various stakeholders
- Maximise technology investment related to pricing and billing infrastructure and ensure return on investment results reconciled to business case
- Improve and maintain the knowledge base across East and West markets, and focus to accelerate execution
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand

Requirements

What you’ll need:

Progressive experience in global payments product management, revenue management, operations or technology
Familiar with current and future industry trends relating to customer pricing in ASP
Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to effectively work with multiple business partners and stakeholders, and to resolve conflicts
Demonstrable analytical, process improvement and project delivery skills; proven leadership in driving results and outcome
Experience of using data to identify sales opportunities, driving revenues, and understanding of customers’ needs and incentives
Experience in a large / complex organization / country set-up is desirable
