What Will You Do?
This role will support our client, a leading provider of web hosting services. As a Java Script Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications that power these essential services. Your work will involve creating scalable and efficient code, integrating various web hosting components, and ensuring seamless functionality across domains, email systems, website builders, and hosting platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the client’s needs and enhance their service offerings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative web hosting solutions in a dynamic and growing industry.
Responsibilities:
- API Development and Migration: Design, develop, and maintain new APIs and migrate existing ones using Java and Spring Boot. Collaborate with a team of developers to implement best practices and ensure high-quality API performance and reliability.
- Application Development: Analyze requirements and devise technical solutions to implement features effectively. Write clean, efficient code following best practices, perform necessary unit testing, and undergo code reviews with code owners. Oversee the deployment process and take pride in the successful release of your work.
- Collaborative Relationship Management: Work closely with senior developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to foster strong professional relationships. Engage in learning opportunities from colleagues and provide support to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
- Continuous Learning and Improvement: Commit to ongoing professional development by staying updated on new technologies, frameworks, and tools. Continuously seek ways to enhance the development process and improve personal and team efficiency.
- Ownership and Accountability: Take full responsibility for the tasks assigned to you, ensuring timely completion and thorough testing before submission. Proactively address problems and seek solutions independently before escalating issues to senior team members.

Must-have skills: Java, Java J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, SQL, JUnit
Desired skills: Front End Exposure, CI/CD, Kubernetes

5 to 10 years of experience in Java and related technologies to design, develop web applications & REST APIs.

- Working experience in java web frameworks (Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate, Struts2, Spring Data, JPA)
- Strong experience in database design and management and being updated on the latest practices and associated versions.
- Desired experience with continuous delivery systems, in build tools and in version control tools(CI/CD, Git, Kubernetes, AKS, Docker)
- Write JUnit test cases for the highest possible test coverage in every build
- Preferable: Exposure / working experience about Kubernetes
- Preferable: Exposure / working experience of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript, React Js etc.
- Strong communication skills, proactive, responsible and superb execution;
- Proven work experience as a Java-J2EE developer
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Good team player with a problem-solving attitude
- Familiar with Microservices design
- Understanding of the Design Patterns, Architectural Blueprints, UML and Application Design
- Experience with RDBMS / Mongo DB
- Familiar with web hosting products is a plus
- Work experience with cloud environment is a plus.
- Be flexible to learn & work on new technologies as required.
