Jamestown Community School R-12 is a vibrant school situated in stunning Jamestown, approximately 1 hour north of the beautiful Clare region, and 45 mins east of Port Pirie, close to the Southern Flinders Ranges area of South Australia. Jamestown Community School R-12 is committed to providing a learning environment where students are engaged, challenged and supported to achieve the highest possible academic and wellbeing outcomes. We actively promote Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness as part of our Resilience Project learning to develop our young people to be powerful learners who make positive contributions to the school and wider community.

We are seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic educator to join our innovative and engaging middle school team. This position is for a minimum of 0.6 FTE, and is open to negotiation up to and including 1.0 FTE

What you will do:

Work collaboratively as part of various learning teams across the site.

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the unique needs and interests of your students.

Collect data as per the site Assessment Schedule to inform next step teaching.

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student achievement and well-being.

Maintain accurate student records and support individual learning plans.
