Position Descriptor:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Tailored Learning teacher to join our Secondary team at Amata. From January 2025, Tailored Learning will replace Flexible Learning Options (FLO) as our primary intervention for secondary students at risk of disengaging from their learning. All schools with secondary enrolments will offer Tailored Learning support to those who need it from 2025. There are 7 core elements used in the Tailored Learning Provision model. These are: culture and equity, conditions for optimal learning, quality assurance and guidance for schools, partnerships between external service providers and schools, strong outcomes and future pathways, workforce capacity and resources. You would work within our Secondary to develop culturally responsive strategies to support and reconnect students facing multiple personal challenges within our bilingual setting.
Amata Anangu School is one of the largest communities in the Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands. Our school is focused on.
