About this role
Our clinic in Port Macquarie Base Hospital is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team. We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.
The role is a full time position typically working Monday to Friday, with 8 hour shifts between 6am - 6pm. You will be rostered on a weekend day or public holiday from time to time, working no more than 5 days per week.

Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
• Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
• Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
• Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
• Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

✅ Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
✅ A background in medical reception or customer service.
