Job Opportunity: Senior Dog Groomer

Position Overview:
As a Senior Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing expert grooming services for dogs of all breeds and sizes. You'll lead grooming sessions, train and mentor junior groomers, and ensure each dog receives exceptional care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dog grooming, a love for animals, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:

• Grooming: Perform full grooming services (bathing, cutting, styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, etc.) to meet breed standards and client preferences.
• Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior groomers, ensuring high-quality grooming standards and excellent customer service.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate directly with pet owners to assess their dog's grooming needs, provide advice on grooming maintenance, and discuss any special requirements or concerns.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep grooming stations and equipment clean, sanitized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Manage Scheduling: Ensure appointments are met on time and that the grooming schedule is efficiently managed.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest grooming trends, techniques, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional dog grooming experience, with a strong portfolio of varied breeds and styles.
• Skills: Proficient in all aspects of dog grooming (bathing, cutting, trimming, nail care, etc.). Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift dogs of various sizes throughout the day.
• Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to provide excellent service to pet owners.
• Team Player: Ability to work independently but also collaborate with others in a supportive and friendly work environment.

Pay: $29.50 – $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Schedule:

• Day shift
• No weekends

Supplementary Pay:
