We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Carpenter for ongoing work in the North West Pilbara Region (Karratha based), on fixed term contracts, with attractive rates.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with well-established industry leaders. You will be working with other highly skilled motor mechanics, which in turn will enable you to become a crucial part of the team.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials, according to specifications.
Work on a variety of construction projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials to precise specifications.
Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards, and quality controls.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
Collaborate effectively with other trades and project teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpenter, with at least 1 yeas in the trade.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Experience with both rough and finishing carpentry.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
White Card (Construction Induction Card) is required.
A commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.
