Assistant Accountant
PART TIME
November 29, 2024
- Full function weekly and fortnightly payroll processing team members split over the two pay runs.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations with precision and timeliness.
- End-to-end management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and assist with month-end accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audit processes
We’re looking for someone with:
- An Accounting degree MUST and evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Minimum 1 years of accounting experience, including payroll.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Award interpretation experience and an understanding of payroll compliance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and discretion.
- Organised, efficient, and solution-focused.
- A team player with a collaborative approach.
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
