Job Summary

Assist the Child Development Specialist in infant, toddler, and/or preschool classrooms.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum
Provide safe, stimulating environment for young children
Conduct individual and group activities to encourage learning and develop social interaction skill
Help prepare and/or serve children's meals
Maintain appropriate records of attendance and activities

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Associate's Degree or two (2) or more years of post-secondary education

Other Required Qualifications

Certification in First Aid and infant, child and adult CPR

Required Experience

One (1) or more years of related work experience

Proposed Salary

$18.11 - $19.78 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.

ABILITIES

Consistently exhibit engaging customer service
Ability to support various constituencies served by the University
Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position

SKILLS

Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills
Demonstrated excellent experience with childcare
