Role Objective:
A Chilled Water Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of technicians to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of chilled water systems within a facility or complex. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, particularly chilled water systems, as well as excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversees and coordinates the work of a team of technicians.
• Assigns tasks and schedules work to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitors team performance and provides feedback and coaching.
• Ensures adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
• Inspects, tests, and maintains chilled water systems, including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and piping systems.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses system malfunctions.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating equipment.
• Responds to emergency breakdowns and repairs.
• Oversees and coordinates installation, modification, and upgrade projects for chilled water systems.
• Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manages material and equipment procurement.
• Energy Efficiency:
• Monitors system performance and identifies opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
• Implements energy-saving measures and strategies.
• Tracks energy consumption and generates reports.
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
• Prepares reports on system status, energy consumption, and project progress.
• Complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, particularly chilled water systems.
• Knowledge of refrigeration principles and thermodynamics.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS).
• Leadership Skills:
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Educational Qualifications:
Minimum high school graduate.
(A university degree from a professional institution is a plus).
