We are expanding our operations and currently seeking International Project Managers to join our team in Turkey.
Responsibilities:
- Manage translation projects, including coordination of freelance staff such as translators, editors, and proofreaders, as well as ensuring the quality control of translations.
- Optionally, contribute to DTP (Desktop Publishing) and content creation projects.
- Collaborate with clients, including project quotation and adherence to deadlines.
- Engage with other company offices for seamless project execution.
- Interface with global resources and handle work orders.
- Build and maintain relationships with international customers.
- Coordinate localization and content creation projects.
- Develop a deep understanding of translation industry technology.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
- Bachelors degree or higher in technical or linguistic fields.
- Proficiency in English at an Upper Intermediate level or above.
- Knowledge of a foreign language, in addition to English, is a strong advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational experience, preferably in the field of translation, including task assignment, performance monitoring, and quality control.
- Proficiency in PC and application software, with experience in Trados and other CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools. Experience with DTP tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused approach.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
- Strong team player in a multicultural environment.
- Aspire to become a Project Manager and assume additional responsibilities.
