Senior Research Assistant Wind Energy Innovation (80-100%)

• Lead the research project “Modeling and estimation of unsteady aerodynamic flow at high Reynolds number”
• Plan and carry out experiments and data analyses for the research project “Modeling and estimation of unsteady aerodynamic flow at high Reynolds number”
• Programme in Python and MATLAB for the evaluation and analysis of simulation and measurement data as well as for machine learning applications
• Write project proposals, scientific publications and reports and give presentations at international conferences
• Supervise junior employees, students and civil service students
• Communicate with national and international project partners
• Actively contribute to our “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” strategy

• You have a Master's degree in engineering or similar and at least three years of professional experience in research or industry in the field of experimental aerodynamics, or you have a doctorate in this field or similar.
• You have experience in experimental aerodynamics and can design, set up, analyse and interpret experiments
• You have good programming skills, especially in Python and MATLAB
• Ideally, you have experience in the wind energy sector and are familiar with the challenges in this industry
• Ideally, you have experience in personnel management and support
• You are business fluent in written and spoken English, and have at least a basic level in German Knowledge of French is also advantageous
• You are a team player and work independently
