Senior Manager Entity Controlling

Abbott’s Corporate Finance Services (CFS) provides processing and expertise to Abbott Divisions, Affiliates, customers, and vendors. This role leads the Abbott Switzerland CFS Team for selected legal entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting in US GAAP and Swiss GAAP.
Major Accountabilities
- Ensure compliance and timely accounting results.
- Support quarterly and year-end close processes.
- Maintain quality control for shared service accounting.
- Review and sign entity contracts.
- Update internal controls and SOX requirements.
- Manage team members and oversee audits.
- Ensure accurate Swiss GAAP financial results.
- Partner on commercial projects.
- Handle EHS and Facility Management at Baar.
- Support entity planning and variance analysis.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives.
Education
- Finance degree, CPA or European equivalent preferred.
Experience Required
- 5+ years in a leadership role in international entity reporting.
- Personnel management experience (team management of 3 direct reports and broader team)
Skills Required
- Strong US GAAP and Swiss accounting knowledge.
- Experience with close processes.
- SAP ECC 6 (FI/CO modules) experience.
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Results-oriented, hands-on, strong communication and financial analysis skills.
