UNITED GRINDING Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of grinding, eroding, laser, and measuring machines, as well as machine tools for additive manufacturing. As part of a small and dedicated team, you will support the United Grinding Group on a wide range of legal and compliance matters in a highly international context. You will work closely with various departments in cross-functional teams and assume responsibility of the legal work-stream in negotiations, documentation and execution of contracts.

Your key responsibilities will be the following

• drafting, reviewing, negotiating and documenting commercial contracts, mainly related to sourcing activities and the manufacture, supply and distribution of our products
• advising the business on all legal matters and developing pragmatic solutions to legal issues for all areas of the business
• handling of disputes, litigation and investigations and overseeing legal defense actions in disputes with suppliers and customers
• managing external lawyers as required
• handling corporate law and corporate secretary matters
• supporting the Group in integration activities emerging from recent M&A transaction

Your qualifications

• law degree and preferably Swiss bar membership
• 5 years post-qualification experience in a law firm or in the legal department of a multinational company
• solid experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
• fluency in business English
• willingness to travel
